- Represent GB at the 5th International Kizomba Competition during the ÁFRICADANÇAR 2012 - 2 ÁFRICADANÇAR 2012 full congress tickets - Flights to Lisbon - A certificate 2nd Prize - 2 Full passes for the CRIOLA BEACH FESTIVAL 2012 (2 to 4 June 2012, Spain) - The chance to perform at the CRIOLA BEACH FESTIVAL 2012 3rd Prize - 2 Free Entrances to any of Latin Motion Salsa & Kizomba events plus the chance to perform at one of them. Who will we consider a ‘Professional’? Someone who has received payment for teaching. performing, promoting or organizing shows, performances and/or classes in Kizomba and/or Semba, but not exclusively. Each contestant will be considered depending on their own circumstances.- Each couple can be made of 2 ‘Professionals’ or 1 ‘Professional’ and 1 ‘Amateur’ HOW TO TAKE PART BEFORE - Register for the Professional Qualifier directly with the event Admins or MD Entertainments by 20th February. - We will give you all the necessary information and respond to your questions, including music and mix queries, choreography, timing etc. - Rules and Regulation available to download here > ON THE DAY, Sat 10th March Professional Qualifiers will take place in the afternoon. The 3 best couple will be shortlisted to take part in the Final that same night. The couple totalizing most points from the Professional Final will become the GB Professional Kizomba Winner 2012. Professionals, this is the opportunity to raise your profile as a teacher, performer and/or dance school, to have the opportunity to have your work and talent seen and recognised by thousands. Due to the complex nature of the kizomba scene, particularly outside London, our definition of an amateur can include a semi-pro (for whom dance tuition and performance provides only a small additional income – NO more than £ 2600 per year / £50 per week. We leave it up to the individual participants to be honest about entering the correct category for them. However the organisation reserve the right to move contestant to the correct category (Amateur or Professional) following the above criteria, or knowledge of their experience if necessary.
